Italian carmaker debuted its radical Testarossa as a successor to the popular 512 BBi.
Power for the Testarossa came from a mid-mounted, 4.9-liter, 48-valve, flat-12, which
produced 380 horsepower and 361 ft-lb of torque—enough to propel the car to 60 mph
in just over five seconds and on to a top speed just shy of 180 mph.
Production was extremely limited and the cost of entry soared from about $85,000 in 1985
to nearly $150,000 by 1990 alone. Now in 2021 and beyond the value has been steadily
increasing for this rare supercar. After more than 7,000 cars had been built, production
concluded at the end of 1991.

The Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG Black Series is a high performance variant of the R230 SL-Class. The SL 65 AMG Black Series, which unlike other SL variants, was not available as a convertible. As it was intended for supreme performance, the Black Series was only offered as a hardtop as the roof mechanism added too much weight.
As well as a fixed roof, the Black Series received a raft of improvements to the suspension, aerodynamics, and drivetrain. Power came from a tuned version of Mercedes' M275 AMG V12 engine. This massive 6.0L powerplant generated 661hp and 738 lb ft of torque, which was sent to the rear wheels via a 7 speed automatic gearbox. Just 350 examples of the SL65 AMG Black Series were produced, of which 175 were for the US market.

In February 2018, Porsche revealed a facelifted GT3 RS model to continue their updates for the 991 generation of the 911(991.2). Changes include a new engine similar to the GT3 and RSR models with a 9,000 rpm redline and 20 hp and 7.4 lb-ft increase over the previous GT3 RS. The GT3 RS includes NACA ducts for brake cooling, modified front fascia (similar to the 991.2 GT3), side skirts and rear wing (similar to the GT2 RS) for increased downforce, ball joints on all suspension links, front helper springs, lightweight glass for the rear and rear-side windows, and a newly developed tire compound. A Weissach package, ordered with this car, including additional carbon fiber body and interior parts as well as magnesium wheels and stiffer suspension settings is available as an option.
On April 18th, 2018 the 991.2 GT3 RS set a lap time of 6:56.4 around the infamous Nürburgring Nordscheleife race track. Porsche predicted a 10-15 second lap improvement over the 991.1 RS, they did not at all expect the car to lap the ‘Ring that quickly. It is the third Porsche production car to break the 7-minute barrier around the track, the first being the 918 Spyder.
Due to a production delay, the first batch of Weissach GT3RS’s were sent with stock GT3RS hoods. The Weissach package features an all carbon fiber hood in an effort to reduce weight. Ours is set to arrive in November of this year. The Weissach package reduces the overall weight of the car by 18kg.
Did you know?
The 911 GT3 RS develops 750 lbs of downforce at 193 mph in its stock setting, but after adjusting the rear wing to maximum attack, downforce and top speed are each increased to 992 lbs at 211 mph.
